Building For Tomorrow
Applications
The CAAST® UHPC Panel System are used as an exterior and interior wall cladding in the following applications:
Color Features + Advantages
The versatility of CAAST® makes it a perfect ally for the most demanding projects. Its formula can be adjusted and augmented almost infinitely to meet just about any safety requirements. From blast protection to fireproofing to innovative application methods, there is a way to make our UHPC solution the right one for sensitive constructions anywhere in the world.
From blast protection to fireproofing to innovative application methods, there is a way to make our UHPC solution the right one for sensitive constructions anywhere in the world.
Ultra-high compressive strength and ductility in tension combine with strain-hardening to provide enhanced mechanical performance in structural or non-structural systems, either new or existing. Along with our blast partners, we have engineered solutions that meet unique and specific requirements in military, governmental and industrial site security to provide appropriate levels of protection and resistance.
A unique mix of micro-polyvinyl fibers are added to the ultra-high performance concrete formulation to address different types of fire specifications.
The inclusion of polyvinyl fibers forms internal chimneys that prevent the spalling effect that can result in the explosion of building panels and concrete structures following fire damage.
Core Applications:
Ideal for Building Envelopes and Cladding
1 Supporting structure
Supporting construction of the building to absorb all loads.
2 Substructure
Transfers the loads from the siding to the structure.
3 Thermal insulation
Layer between the substrate and the ventilation space to improve the thermal and/or acoustic insulation capacity.
4 Rear ventilation
Space through which outside air flows, adjoining the cladding on the back.
5 CAAST UHPC Panels
Outer, visible layer of the outer wall with a protective and design function.
CAAST®’s shrinking and creep factors are among its more remarkable properties: while ordinary concrete creep factors can reach 3 or 4, and competing high-performance concrete is lower, CAAST®’s is lower still, at 0.8-1.0. When a thermal treatment is applied, this can drop even further, to about 0.2.
Due to its very low water cement ratio and high quality, consistent materials, CAAST® is able to provide a stable, consistent, and relatively low shrinkage value. The use of heat treatment can further reduce the amount of shrinkage observed.
This means better castings, lower wastage, and better finished products. In short, better production performance and cost savings.
Our production and design teams are ready to make your next development dream a reality.
